At SDS, we feel the key to pricing is defining the scope of the project. In order for the client to receive the greatest value for the cost, both parties must have an understanding of the client’s objectives and deliverables expected. Therefore, we propose, whenever possible, negotiating a fixed project price. The client will know up front the cost of the project and will be comparing scopes rather than just costs between firms. When the scope of a project cannot be adequately defined or a fixed project price is not possible for other reasons, we will charge a fixed hourly rate for the time expended on the project plus expenses. Billing:Unless otherwise negotiated, SDS provides monthly billing for all work complete in the prior month. Each bill will include a description of the work performed on the project during the month and time spent if billed on an hourly basis. |
